This brings us to the concept of “new anatomy”, or a new way of looking at anatomy.  It has been postulated, by some, that the meridian concept in Chinese medicine was related to the fascia, connecting tissue of the muscles and muscle groups.  As more study is being done, more information is being revealed at the Fascia Research Congress, describing the relationship between the nervous system and the fascia.

Western medicine is finally finding a way towards Chinese medicine.  At some point the two will meet.
